BOOK EXHIBITION

As a part of National library week celebrations,a book exhibition was organized in the Vidyalaya.

NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK INAUGURATION

Sri K.Rajendran,Principal KV Ottapalam inaugurated the National library week celebrations in our Vidyalaya. Principal addressed the students and motivated them to read more books .Class VIII A students presented a special programme in assembly in connection with the national library week.

BOOK EXHIBITION

There will be a book exhibition  in our Vidyalaya from November 14-15.Green books Palakkad is conducting the same.Venue is Primary activity room. A good collection of fiction and non fiction books will be exhibited.All are welcome!

Weave a story is an activity to develop the creativity and thinking skills of students.Students made their own stories and enacted thoose stories.

The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel 2018 was divided equally between William D. Nordhaus "for integrating climate change into long-run macroeconomic analysis" and Paul M. Romer "for integrating technological innovations into long-run macroeconomic analysis."

THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE 2018

The Nobel Peace Prize 2018 was awarded jointly to Denis Mukwege and Nadia Murad "for their efforts to end the use of sexual violence as a weapon of war and armed conflict."

THE NOBEL PRIZE IN CHEMISTRY 2018

The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has decided to award the Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2018 with one half to Frances H. Arnold California Institute of Technology, Pasadena, USA“for the directed evolution of enzymes”and the other half jointly to George P. Smith University of Missouri, Columbia, USA and Sir Gregory P. Winter MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge, UK “for the phage display of peptides and antibodies”

Hindi book review competition was conducted in Library on 22-09-2018 .Readers club members were participated in the competition.

Reader's Club meeting was conducted on 22-09-2018 in library.Two activities were conducted.Club members had given a talk on their favourite books. Hindi book review writing competition was also conducted.

Doodle 4 Google-2018

Students in Class 1-10 are invited to take part in the 2018 Doodle 4 Google contest, and create an uplifting doodle that tells the world "What inspires me?." From crayons to clay, graphic design, young artists can utilize any materials to bring their creation to life. Like all Google Doodles, each doodle must incorporate the letters G-o-o-g-l-e. One national winner will receive INR 500,000 college scholarship, INR 200,000 technology package for their school, and the winning doodle will be showcased on www.google.co.in on 14th November 2018. The contest is open for entries upto October 6th, 2018

Exhibition of Hindi books was conducted in library as a part of Hindi pakkwada observation.Hindi books available in library were exhibited for one week from 14th September to 21th September.

HARRY POTTER QUIZ

PREMCHAND DIWAS

Premchand Diwas was celebrated in our school on July 31.Special assembly programmes were conducted based on the works of Premchand.Premchand's books were displayed in library. A competition of writing  appreciation letter to author was conducted in library.
